"Just back from our 9th visit to Vasciano which, in itself, shows how much we love the place and its surroundings.  We very much appreciate all the improvements you make every year.  This year we loved the new rose garden and the delightful breakfast area in the garden.  We so enjoyed the early sun there.  Already talking about our potential 10th visit!"  Jones. 2010

"This was our 4th trip to the Tuscany/Umbria and we have stayed in a variety of villas, large and small. Without hesitation this was by far our most enjoyable experience. The house is beautiful, the grounds quite stunning and the attention to detail wonderful. It is convenient for all of the major towns. We dined at the house on 4 occasions and the food prepared by Fanny was excellent. Sitting under the pergola with a local Rosso di Montefalco and listening to the wildlife was as relaxing as it gets. Can't wait to go back." Mills. June 2010

"This place is magical. Just to sit in the evenings on the terrace with the sounds of the cuckoos and nightingales is a real treat. The garden was a blaze of colour and has a great swimming pool and shady areas for afternoon siestas and reading. The house is well equipped and comfortable and is especially good for people who wish to be out of the humdrum of working life. The photos do not do it justice."  Jean. 2009

"We have the most wonderful memories of staying in your beautiful home. This was my introduction to Italy and it exceeded all my expectations. [We] have daydreams of returning to Umbria. From our magical starter pack- to reading your helpful books of recommendations, your hosting by distance was appreciated by us all. It was all the personal touches and magical ambiance that you have created that made our time there so spectacularly special"   Annie. 2009

"Vasciano – obviously deeply loved and cared for – a wonderful generous home – unspoilt and gorgeous" Wright-Stow. 2009

"We enjoyed Vasciano immensely. Vasciano is a peaceful, warm, welcoming and beautiful place. The house has been most sympathetically restored and exudes loving care and attention to detail. Everything was spotlessly clean and scrupulously maintained. The garden is ample and beautifully landscaped. Sitting at the table in the veranda, enjoying leisurely meals, the stunning view, the delicate flowers, the butterflies, the changing sunlight and shade was a wonderfully relaxing experience. Our children loved the pool, the pizza oven, the barbecue and the lizzards. The house is fantastically well equipped. Alltogether, an idyllic place to stay for those who want to get away from it all." Ian and A. 2008

"We enjoyed Vasciano enormously, thank you. We are much in awe of the house and garden  - a triumph. We felt like privileged personal guests of yours while there and hope to be able to come again." Cogan 2008

"We have enjoyed our time in this beautifully restored and lovingly decorated and looked after farmhouse. The pictures do not do justice to the stunning setting and the serene beauty of the place"  Plomer 2008

"Vasciano refreshes the soul. You have a beautiful family home" Burrows 2008

"What a fantastic week we had at Vasciano, thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. It was so good to see for ourselves this place that my parents have been waxing lyrical about for years now - and to realise that they are absolutely spot on when they say how special it is." Jones. May 2006

"Our first visit to Vasciano was a wonderful experience - the fox visited us after breakfast. The house is so restful, has just about everything and give good access to many many places of interest." Josie. Sept 2001

"The two weeks here have been bliss. The extra files at Vasciano …..guiding us to some great places. We had some lovely lazy days in your fantastic pool and creating meals in your well equipped kitchen. Possibly our best family holiday ever." Guest. July 2005

"The greatest compliment we could pay the house itself was that it was not so much staying in someone's home as feeling we were in our own, transplanted to what must be one of the most beautiful places on earth." Byrne. July 2006

"It is so beautiful here, stunning views, so peaceful and relaxing. As our five year old son said 'God must have big brains'." Sherrington. May 2001
