When to go

Along with the rest of Europe our climate is more variable than it once was. Our house is high up so the temperatures are usually lower than say Rome or Florence.

Spring
One of the best times to visit. The temperatures are moderate and the weather is mild with generally little rain so it is usually sunny. It can be quite cold at night in early spring. Vasciano is usually above the early morning mists which magically come and go in the valley below.

Summer
The weather is beautiful and it can get very hot. In late August, Vasciano often gets late afternoon thunderstorms which cool things down.

Autumn/fall
Another favourite time to visit Vasciano. The weather is still mild and pleasant and even at the end of October there are often days of very warm sunshine.
